Belief Kills

Published: Mon, 12/08/14

Check this out ...

The easiest way to fail is to "believe" in yourself.
The easiest way to find the path to success is to KNOW
you are supposed to be healthy, strong and happy.

Sorry to rain on the "Believe In Yourself" parade, but I've
seen too many people get killed by wishy washy "belief."

And if you think it's just a matter of word choice, take a
look around at the folks who believe, as opposed to the ones
who KNOW enough to throw down and commit to their intentions.

A Facebook friend asked me expand on that thought. I told her
to check the blog and add herself to the mailing list.

I don't know if she did or if she didn't. But it's a perfect
example of what happens when we get "interested" in something,
as opposed to getting committed.

Interest is disposable. It comes and goes. Lots of clever statuses,
interesting things to look at on Instagram, shiny objects everywhere.

Commitment screens all of that out. Yes, there are things that are
fun to look at.

But you won't see them when you're committed. You're too
busy hunting down the thing you desire. And when you get
really good...letting it come to you.

Same thing with belief and knowing. Belief is cheap. You can
believe in lots of stuff. If it doesn't happen, no harm done.

KNOWING takes commitment. You're not only betting on
it being true, you're actively taking steps to make sure it is.

Belief kicks you to the curb. You get stepped on and
stepped over by the masses who don't have time your belief.
They're rushing to the next feeding frenzy.

And you may get trampled by those who KNOW as well.
They'll be sorry they hurt you.

But mostly they'll be too busy in their knowledge to worry
about it. Next.

Where do you stand?

Do you "believe" in your dreams and goals?

Or do you KNOW you are ready, willing and able to
run them down, no matter how far away they seem?

Or do you want to move past belief and wishing, into the
mad dog pursuit of that which thrills you?

Decide where you stand.

And if you want help in KNOWING you are capable
and worthy of going after your vision, let me know.

I'm building on the pilot group we ran over the summer
and fall of a personal development based health and weight
loss forum.

Yes...pounds were lost.

And confidence was restored.

And a few folks actually made life altering choices,
because they found the contrast between what they
wanted and what they were permitting. I'm very
proud of them.

More on this soon. For now, email me and let me know
you want more info. Subject Line: Total Health.

Much Love,
Larry

P.P.S.:  I've got a rant in me...a major one about how
people are being bilked by the diet and nutrition
industry. Not sure if it'll be tomorrow or Wednesday.

But if you ever found yourself bouncing from program
to program, please keep your eyes open for my next
note.

Because, dammit, you're worth more than being
a cog in someone's profit machine!
