Healing In The Darkest Corners Of The Earth
Published: Mon, 05/04/15
Yesterday was the 70th anniversary of the liberation
of the Dachau concentration camp, just outside Munich.
I visited there with Sven Larson 25 years ago.
It was remarkable how the sense of horror sat right next
to the peace of the nuns of the Catholic monastery who
lived on the premises...and the memorials to the surviving
Jews and others...the determination and will to survive.
We do some incredibly cruel things to each other as a
species, and we must never take our capacity for violence
for granted. It's still very much alive. But we can also
celebrate our ability to heal, grow and find love in the
darkest corners.
I published Healing In The Darkest Corners Of The Earth
back in 2012. Inviting you to check it out, and see if it
helps you make a deeper connection with your compassion
and your humanity.
Much Love,
Larry
P.S.: I'd also love your comments and shares.
