VICTORY!

Trust your Easter weekend was great!
Mine was. We had a momentous occasion
on Easter Sunday...
My daughter, Sarah beat me in a game of kings.
In case you've never played, that's a form of
checkers where every piece starts out as a king
and they are configured in opposite corners
of the board.
You wouldn't think it's a big deal, other than in
the approximately 50 games of checkers we've
ever played, this was the first time she legitimately
beat me.
And it was simply by staying in the game long
enough to adapt.
When I tried to tell her is this: in checkers you get
beat because you're either too passive and your
opponent takes advantage of it, or you're too
aggressive and your point it uses that to his
or her advantage.
That's how she beat me. I got overconfident and
started moving recklessly, not seeing the board
moves ahead.
She waited me out and then double and triple
jumped me. She separated my pieces from each
other, and that was all she wrote.
She took the whole thing in stride. Never smiled,
never did anything except be her usual 18-year-old
self.
But deep down I have to believe she felt like a
milestone had passed. I sure did!
The message is exactly what you think it is...
If you stick around long enough in an environment
where people know more than you do, you'll take on
their attitudes and their skills.
And of course if you get complacent and arrogant
you will quickly find out that what you had has
been taken away.
But right this minute I prefer to celebrate the
"coming of age" of the mighty Sarah.
So,Grasshopper...
What have you been doing long enough without
any progress to show for it, because you haven't
been willing to take the next step?
What will happen when you decide to elevate
your game by playing with a sharper crowd?
Are you willing to let go of the tiny little bit of
stability you have in order to move on to something
bigger, brighter, better?
Your move.
Much Love,
Larry
Start small. Read how five young adults elevate
their game and so something they didn't think was
possible...and the benefits they get from it.
HOW TO JUGGLE is an amazing read.
Or go a little bigger. HOW TO RECEIVE is a
step-by-step system to clear away the obstacles
to getting what you want...and replacing them with
boldness, confidence and joy in the process. The
book is great. So is the audio series. Having
both is awesome!
Or throw down and make a commitment. WORK
WITH ME...ONE ON ONE. Invest in some quality time
and become the superstar you probably haven't allowed
yourself to imagine...because you were afraid it
couldn't come true.
It can. It's been waiting to come out all this time.
