The Duggar Family

a groovy long weekend with my wife...
I don't watch any television, other than any of
the Anthony Bourdain shows or the occasional
New York Mets or UConn basketball game.
I know of the show, but haven't seen it.
So I don't have a bias for or against them. I don't
have a sense of betrayal or moral outrage, since
I've never invested any emotion in them.
In that sense, I'm lucky. My life, and the emotions
around it belong to ME...and the people I choose
to love and throw down with.
It's not manipulated by carefully engineered thought
forms and emotions, or market research designed
to get me to buy more of whatever the sponsors
are selling.
Only they know the level of criminal activity, or
deception, or forgiveness. And every viewer decides
for themselves whether or not they can come back
and support the show.
The best thing that could come out of this is for every
person who watches the show to turn the focus INWARD.
Are you living in integrity? In purpose? In compassion?
Are there areas that need attention? Are you allowing
your attention to get divided by someone else's public
flameout while you neglect the important parts of
your own life?
Josh (I think that's his name) is responsible for his
life. Nothing you say or do influences that. YOU are
responsible for yours.
Go add value to your own life, and to those who are
part of your life...not someone who shows up on
your screen.
Have a great weekend!
Much Love,
Larry
