Going To War

Published: Sun, 08/16/15

I have put on my "war face."

Now before I go any further, I mean zero
disrespect to the men and women who fought
in an actual war.

I have immense respect and appreciation for
those who serve in the Armed Forces, and
would never minimize your role in keeping
us safe and free. A heartfelt thanks to all of you.

That said...I'm going to war.

And if there's something you have crazy amounts
of DESIRE for, you may want to go to war right
alongside me.

We just got back from an eight day, seven night cruise
to the Bahamas. It was as awesome as you might
expect it to be. Ocean breezes, beaches dancing the
night away, special time with my wife, life partner, best friend.

And yeah…the food. And the drinks.

I really didn't partake much in the alcohol.
Just not my thing. But the food…I dove in head
first. Simply too much deliciousness to ignore.

I read somewhere people game and average of 10 pounds
when they go on a cruise. Not sure I put that much on,
but definitely noticed a change, even while keeping my
fitness regimen and during the time on the ship.

And no, this isn't going to be about "weight loss."
At least not for most of you.

The thing is, all the while I was indulging in all
that awesome food, I knew when I got back I was
"going to war" to get my body back in the shape
I'm accustomed to, and love.

That's a different kind of war that many others fight.

I knew the odds were stacked in my favor. I know how
to eat well. I know how to manage cravings, and I know
how to turn up my metabolism to burn unwanted fat.

And more importantly, I have no anxiety about doing it.
Not anymore. Unlike the past, I now see fitness, strength
and muscle as part of myself, not on the outside looking in.

Same is true for other things that I do. And like every
other human being, there are things I have desire for,
that I have not grown into the person who receives them
easily. Not yet anyway.

So I "go to war" on those as well.

First I do the work on myself while I start to gear up
on the actual "things" that need to be done before I hit
critical mass and the results flow into my life.

A different kind of war. Less about attacking "the thing,"
and more about getting ourselves ready for the battlefield.

(And when we do it right, we discover that battlefield
is more like a playground.)

The last quarter of 2015, I'm taking a small group of
soldiers into war.

FALL INTENSIVE is gearing up for action.

It's not for everyone. It's only for those who are
brave enough, determined enough, hungry enough
to go to war.

That's not most people. And that's why most
people aren't fulfilling their dreams.

But maybe it's for you.

Maybe it's for someone who knows there's more
to them than what they've been living...and
is ready to meet the challenge head on.

If this describes you, find me now.

Subject Line: Fall Intensive.

This is going to be an exclusive experience,
limited ONLY to the few who are ready for
an intense, grueling 90 days... that will
catapult them and their desire into reality.

Information goes out Sunday August 16
at 10:00 pm Eastern by email.

Full details only to those who respond.

Talk Soon,
Larry

P.S.: I realize not everyone is ready to
"go to war." If you aren't, please don't
respond to this note.

And please...I don't think any less of you.
We all have our personal barriers that get
in the way of our success. Some are more
ready to break through them than others.

If you're not at "critical mass" yet, start
with something less intense.

HOW TO RECEIVE has been a game
changer for many people along the way.

And HOW TO JUGGLE is a story that
everyone can relate to. It may just provide
the inspiration for you to find your own
power, desire and sense of play.
