Tall People...VERY Tall People

You know...regular sized.
So when I'm around a bunch of guys
who are six and a half feet tall and up...
You know, it's...different.
Up this morning from an amazing night
at the Basketball Hall of Fame Banquet
and Ring Ceremony. It's one of the events
Diane and I look forward to every year.
Too much to say right now, and it's going
to take a while to put the photos together
the way I want on the blog.
If we're Facebook friends, you get to see
a whole bunch of cool ones on my page.

One quick point, then I'm gonna grab
some breakfast...
When you're in a place where people have
done more than you've done, have more than
you have, or are insanely taller than you are...
You can decide you don't belong and walk away.
Or you can appreciate the greatness,
and vote yourself in.
I won't be playing professional basketball
anytime soon. But I will be treating myself
like a champion.
Because like Lisa Leslie, Jojo White, Dikembe
Mutombo, John Calipari and the rest of the inductees,
I'm committed to enjoying the game and getting better
all the time.
And like Calvin Murphy, another Hall Of Famer,
I'm five feet ten inches tall.
Get rid of the excuses and elevate your game.
