When Will You...?

When will you take your dreams
as seriously as your current reality?
When will you stop waiting for the
step-by-step directions and figure things
out for yourself?
When will you respect the people enough to
let them figure things out for themselves?
When will you play?
When will you dance?
When will you stop poisoning your mind
and spirit with mindless television and other
people's drama which has nothing to do with you?
When will you dig past your anger and get
at the real issues in your life? The ones
the anger is keeping for from dealing with
like a grown up?
When will you look your antagonist in the
eye and say, "ENOUGH!"?
When will you take your foot off the neck of
the person you've been holding a grudge against?
When will you forgive?
When will you tell the people you love
that you love them...and show it?
When will you stop buying the story you've been
telling yourself , and others have been selling you?
When will you detach from toxicity in your environment?
When will you respect your body enough to feed
it lovingly and move it in ways that it's calling out for?
When will you have your version of fun, instead of
what others sell you as fun?
When will you listen to that voice inside you that
knows who you are and what to do?
When will you turn the page and
get to the great novel that's waiting for you?
When will you live the life that, when you take your
last breath you say, I'm proud of what I did with the
time I had?
