Keeping Clients And Customers Forever

Published: Tue, 11/24/15

Well, maybe not forever. But pretty close!

Happy Almost Thanksgiving!

If you're in business of any kind, read this.

If you're not, read it anyway.

I was all set to make this profound Facebook
status about customer service…

The girls were cleaning the house and
getting stuff ready to ship out to New York
for Thanksgiving tomorrow.

They wanted Chinese takeout, and I was
about to leave the gym. So I called our usual
place (and by usual, I mean the only one we've
been to in the last 10 years).

He asked me to hold on for a moment while
he was processing other orders.

Four minutes later I hung up in frustration,
and decided to try a new place that was also
on the way home.

That would have been my status…never take
your customers for granted.

Only, the place I went to didn't have chicken teriyaki,
which is a dealbreaker for my daughter.

So I called the usual place back and got my
order taken right away.

Fifteen minutes later, my kid was snacking on chicken
teriyaki and brown rice. My wife was slurping her
wonton and egg drop soup.

And all was right with the world.

So…never take your customers for granted.

But more importantly, know what they want...
and have it!

If you're in the U.S.A., make sure you have fun
and be safe. Don't let the holiday make you crazy.

If not...have fun anyway!

Peace Out,
Larry

"WOW! I couldn’t put this book down! This is a beautiful
story that anyone who is interested in growing must read.
If you have kids, they REALLY need to read it. Larry hit
the nail on the head. We really can do anything if we just
open our minds and hearts to what’s possible.”
