Multiple DREAMS Of Income: Four Ways To Get It!

It's fun when cool things happen by accident.
I was responding to a direct message (DM) on
Instagram. Usual stuff. "What exactly do you do?"
Note: most people who ask that question are
positioning themselves so they will answer that
question with some kind of pitch.
It's OK. The nature of the game.
So I told the guy the truth, which is that I'm in
the home business industry and we have a number
of income streams.
He then told me he does network marketing
and is a Forex trader.
So far, so good.
But then he asked me what I meant by
number of "income streams."
Newbie in the business.
And that's awesome!
Everyone starts as a newbie.
I'll spare you all the details, but in writing him
back, my voice recorder didn't hear "multiple
streams of income."
It heard "multiple dreams of income."
How perfect is that?
Most people enter the home business industry
through an individual company. They respond
to someone's advertising.
Or they get pitched by a local person for a
network or affiliate marketing company.
They become advocates for that company,
and some become passionate zealots for it.
Again, nothing wrong with that. Some people
create an enormous income, and have a lifelong
love affair with that company. Others will do one
or the other.
Either way, their quality of life will be much
better because of that company.
Diane and I were emotionally bonded to our
first company for about seven years.
And it served us well. Great results from the
products. Great connections.
And a terrific education. This company was very
strong about teaching the principles of warm marketing.
But nothing about multiple streams of income.
Later on, when Diane got skilled in attraction marketing,
other opportunities presented themselves.
New network marketing companies.
Lots of affiliate programs.
Individual consulting. Classes. Her own products.
I used my counseling, training and entertaining
background to build different income sources.
And there it is!
Multiple streams of income!
Nowadays it's a pretty familiar thing.
Lots of people look for multiple income sources.
Like my friend who "does" network marketing
and trades on Forex.
(Sidenote: I know absolutely nothing about Forex.)
For many it's something that sounds like a great idea.
And if you're willing to get really skilled and really
organized, you too can take the "multiple dreams of
income" and turn it into multiple streams of income!
Quick review...because the things it will take to turn
dreams into streams won't ever be covered in a short
note like this.
1. Detach from an obsession with your
primary network marketing or affiliate program.
Yes, honor and respect it. Even love it! But if you
emotionally invest too strongly in it, you'll never escape
its gravitational pull.
2. Get really good and really confident at what you do.
People are looking for someone they trust.
If you know what you're talking about in two or three
different areas, and you're not shy about telling people
about it, you'll attract people. Lots of them.
3. Get organized.
There's a lot of work involved in multiple streams
of income. You can do it in a short period of time,
so your job or family doesn't have to suffer.
But you have to work really smart.
4. Keep learning.
The home business industry changes more than
most people think (even though its core principles
will always be the same).
Make a commitment to being in front of the
trends and knowing about stuff that people want...
and are willing to pay for.
Can dreams turn into streams?
They did for us! And lots of other people.
