Your Personal Best
Published: Wed, 03/30/16
You don't know what it is.
Neither do I.
Neither does anyone else, including parents
who told you to "be realistic."
Neither do teachers or guidance counselors who
told you to take the well-worn path, instead of
following your intuition.
Neither does your upline who tell you to follow
the system, even though that system is 10 years old
and hopelessly out of date for today's marketplace.
You don't know your personal best because it doesn't
exist. Every time you get there, the bar moves.
I could give examples throughout history... the
breaking of the four minute mile, the Wright brothers,
your personal bench press record. The sales quota you smashed.
Even the degree to which you astonished your husband
or wife with your creativity and generosity.
You haven't found it yet. That's the good news.
The bad news is that you'll never find it unless you
make the commitment to getting it.
A determination to go above and beyond the limitations
anyone sets for you, and you expect of yourself.
