Remedial Gym Class

in elementary school.
That experience stayed with me a long time.
Besides the embarrassment of being the kid
practicing coordination moves while everyone
else was playing baseball and kickball, I let
the label define me...for a long time.
So the fact that I have a physical skill that
very few people have is surprising...
And at the same time, it totally isn't.
You can change your story any time your
desire is strong enough.
And be proud of who you become in the process.
