Revenge

"I'll show that so-and-so. I'll succeed.
I'll make money and then I'll come back
and show them all what I've got."
No you won't.
Because it's precisely that thinking that keeps
you a slave to your current circumstances.
If you were in the room with Dr. Joe Dispenza
last weekend you have an idea of what I'm
talking about.
That lack consciousness. That scarcity mentality.
That dreaded sense of limitation, as if
there's not enough to go around.
That "since that 'very' did it to you, they are
responsible for your lot in life.
And that's not to say that people didn't do
and say things that made your journey that
much more difficult.
Well guess what, Bucko?
"They" give you the gift of contrast.
They gave you the gift of discomfort.
They gave you the gift of
desire for something better.
Not the cold complacency of comfort.
Not a padded cell of mediocrity.
Desire.
And if you were reading these words…
If you have the gift of reading and expressive
language…
If you have access to technology that lets
you communicate with the entire world…
You don't get to sit on your ass bitching
and moaning.
And I guarantee if you bring the energy of
revenge to your prospecting, you'll be in the
same or worse situation six months from now.
Home business building is about coming from
a place of service.
(Really, everything is.)
And someone who leads with the negative energy
of revenge will never be of service.
Their own deficits will overwhelm any tips, tricks,
hacks or even skills they might have developed.
And that's not to say lack of negativity is enough.
You need the skills. You need to know how to write,
and think.
You really need to know how to listen.
But when you put away your need to "show them,"
when you put away you need to defeat the ghosts
from the past, you have a really good head start.
You're a grown-up.
Leave revenge for the movies.
Leave revenge for the other guy who is
underdeveloped in their marketing and their life.
Serve them.
Be their role model.
Soften their hearts.
