Five Percent (Happy New Year)

I wish you a 2017 full of joy, blessings, fun and love.
Of course it really doesn't matter what I wish you.
I'll get to that in a minute. :)
But either way, 2017 has the chance to be a year
of taking everything you've learned and putting
it into action.
It also means letting go of stuff that continues
to hurt, and keeps you from getting you everything
you want.
And by the way, it also gives you the chance of
forgiving someone who is waiting for your forgiveness.
Or being kind and compassionate to someone who
needs a loving, friendly presence in their life.
Anyway...
Like I said, it really doesn't matter what I wish for you.
Because in 26 years of being a professional counselor
I figured out you can help most people move a little bit
in one direction or the other...
But if they aren't ready for change, it doesn't matter much.
As Larry Thompson said in his network marketing training,
"You can't say the right thing to the wrong person, and you
can't say the wrong thing to the right person."
A lot of people will feed their guilty conscience by making
a resolution that will last a few days or weeks. But they'll
be back to old habits pretty quickly.
Those aren't bad people. They're not lazy or stupid or weak.
They're just not ready.
I made some major life changes in 2016. It's not that I
wasn't good enough before. I just wasn't ready until then.
Ready for the pain, and brutally hard work and sacrifice
that went along with them.
And ready to accept the rewards that went along
with that change.
And like I said, those who are ready will find the methods,
the techniques and the tools that will get them where they
intend to go.
They'll do whatever is necessary. Nothing and no one will
stop them.
Those two categories are almost everyone you know.
But there's a small group - we'll call them five percent -
who are sitting on the fence.
They're kinda, sorta almost ready for a change. To get
stronger, richer, healthier, more successful, whatever.
But they need an outside force pulling them toward it.
I'm sending love to that first group who isn't ready.
And I'll be there if and when they decide to do
something different.
And of course I'm there for the group who is ready
to run through a wall to get their success. I've helped
many of those people already.
I'm calling out to the five percent.
I'm calling out to those who've been disappointed
before, but still hung onto the dream.
Doesn't matter if it's home business. Or weight loss.
Doesn't matter if it's a regular career. Or marriage.
Doesn't matter if it's being a better parent. Or just
learning how to sleep better at night.
The formula for any success is always the same.
It's the same formula I use to teach people
how to juggle.
We just apply it to making money.
Or chopping off body fat.
Or making you attractive from the inside out,
so the right people show up in your life.
It's MIND FLIP.
We ran it at the end of 2015. And people broke through.
Sometimes in very unexpected ways.
