least three ways to get it
right.
And one big way to screw it up.
Just back from a long weekend of rest and relaxation.
Of course, I noticed a few things along the way
while checking on social media (which I did much
less of than I normally do).
The first is to be smart enough to know what the
right thing to do is, whether you care about it or
not.
This is pretty rare. A long time ago I had a boss
who wasn't particularly nice.
But things almost always turned out right for what
they were trying to do.
That's because they were smart enough to see the
big picture and do the right thing, even if it wasn't
in their heart.
That's pretty rare. I'm not usually smart enough
to get
things right that way.
The second way is to care enough about what you're
doing so that you find the right thing to do.
Yes, you'll make mistakes along the way.
But you'll love the work, or love the people you
work with enough so that you'll be interested in
getting better.
And you will.
That's the type of person I
love to be around.
The third one is to have enough energy and passion
so that nothing can stop you from reaching your goals.
If you get knocked down, you feel badly for about
ten seconds.
Then you get up and go back at it.
You're a fun, strong, attractive person to be around.
You can feel it. So can everyone else.
That's my
favorite kind of person to be around.
And that's the kind of person we're developing this

P.S.: The one way to fail....
Be convinced you know more than
anyone else.
Be judgmental and superior.
Be resistant to learning new stuff.
Follow people blindly.
You'll make someone else happy. You'll
serve their agenda.
But you won't get yours.
There's more of this than you might think.
Good people do it sometimes.
They get caught up in drama, or
fear.
