You Never Gave Me An Answer
Published: Tue, 06/27/17
An invitation to do something great.
Extraordinary.
Life changing.
You saw it. Or you heard it.
You knew it was there.
And it took some kind of form for you.
A more fulfilling career move.
A risk on a home business.
Letting go of a relationship that didn't serve you,
or making a deeper commitment to one that was
in trouble.
Taking control of your body. Fixing your weight or
your health.
It called you.
I called you (speaking as "the thing.")
You never gave me answer.
Or you mumbled it so softly, no one heard it.
My favorite expression of the month...
At a certain point, we run out of tomorrows.
You could have another sixty years in you.
Or you might not make it though the day.
Do you really want your legacy to be, "Oh, they
had such potential! I wish they'd done more!"
There's greatness in you.
There's greatness in all of us.
But you're reading these words.
So you have more interest than most in taking it
out for a spin.
But you have to come to terms with what's been
stopping you all this time.
I called you...loud and clear.
You never gave me an answer.
At least not a strong enough one to do anything with.
Change that.
Act like there are no more tomorrows.
RELEASE THE HOUNDS
That's where we do our work.
That's where those who have answered talk about what
they did.
They leave a trail.
You get the road map.
We find the hard spots.
And we fix them.
We release all the resistance. The pent up energy.
The sadness and anger, if that's what you have.
The hounds of your passion.
An answer. Long, loud and clear.
Step into your greatness.
Don't let it die in regret.
One life.
