Hurricane Harvey Relief

There are two things you can do to help
with Hurricane Harvey relief. One right
away, and one ASAP.

First, if you have any ability to donate
money, please do so right away.

I made my donation to the Hurricane
Harvey Relief Fund, which was established
by Houston's mayor, Sylvester Turner.

They were listed in the New York Times as
one of the "safe" charities to donate to.

Second, in times like this, there is a major
shortage of blood. Normal donation cycles
and blood drives get disrupted. Blood supplies
become critically low.

If you're someone who can donate blood,
please do so as soon as possible.

And don't be shy! Let people know so you can
get your proper shout outs and inspire others
to do the same!

There are times when we pull together, regardless
of what else is going on in our lives, regardless
of who like and don't like, regardless of our
politics, and just do the right thing.
