Don't Let This Make You Poor

When CHANGE hits your life, it gets you focused.
You can take the important parts of your life seriously.
Or you can waste time.
Or you can pay someone to pretend you're
making progress.
I didn’t know I was going to do this Livestream
until about ten minutes before I was on camera.
This has been a week of profound life change…
for me and for others in my circle.
This Livestream came from the kitchen of the new
home I just moved into in Michigan. It’s my new
home and new life after 30 years in Connecticut.
And it’s the first time in my 52 years I’ve lived
somewhere other than the east coast.
And it’s the day after my good friend Lori lost
her husband of 27 years.
We get one life.
We can be rich, or we can poor.
We can experience mostly love, or mostly loneliness.
And sure…we’ll have a lot of second chances along
the way. We’re supposed to make mistakes.
We’re supposed to take a lot of our time for granted.
And then something comes along and reminds us
that time always goes forward. Never backward.
One day you’ll wake up to your last day. You don’t
know when that will be.
You can do whatever you want with your life.
If you want to fool around on social media, or live
way below your capability, that’s your choice.
And I promise you…someone is going to make money
from your choices.
Change is coming…for all of us.
Do you want to be ready for it, or not?
If you want to be wealthy, have influence, and wake up
with excitement and purpose…
You have to live as if your goals are the most important
things in the world.
More than liking other people’s stuff.
More than begging for attention on Facebook
or Instagram.
I don’t care if that offends you.
If you’re serious about breaking through in business,
you don’t have the luxury of screwing around.
Go all in. Or don’t.
But change is gonna come.
You don’t get to keep your little space in life.
Get ready by deciding who you are and what you want.
Then organize your life around it.
