Offended...

I have told you in my last few notes we're building
a home business organization, and I'm inviting you
to take a look, in case you would like to be part of it.

And that's the same thing I'm doing with many of 
my social media friends.

I'm letting them know what I've got.

And I'm asking them if they want to take a look at
what I have.

Not jumping up and down on them.

They're able to say no, and I always respect that.

So it surprised me when someone got offended when
I invited them to take a look.

She told me she was disappointed in not getting to
know her first.

I get that. Everyone wants to feel important and respected.

Here's the thing....

I have almost 30,000 social media contacts, And personal
connections with a surprisingly high number of them.

Truthfully, I try to meet as many people as I can.

And I'm open and honest in my posts...including the stuff
I send to you.

So I'd like to think you know a little more about me than
the typical person who's just a name and some photos.

And if you want to get to know me, you're always able to 
send an email and say hi. 

There's nothing wrong with being a straight shooter.

There's nothing wrong with telling someone you're building
a business, and inviting them to either look at what you're 
selling, or asking if they might want to join your organization. 

And yeah, in the course of that interaction, I get to know you.

If it's not a match, we'll know it.

And if it is, and we decide to work together, our connection
gets deeper.
