Hi ,

 

So there I am, sneaking up with my video camera

on VaNessa, Tito, Amy, Ron and the rest of the crew

at the initial National Expansion Team Training in Dallas.

 

VaNessa is doing her thing. She snuck up on everyone

and made a boatload of money...and helped a bunch of

others do the same. Everyone wanted to know how she did it.

 

I flip the camera on and start recording.

 

Everyone realized they were being filmed. They were in a

pretty good mood about it. After all, they knew they are

in a really good business and financial position.

 

Then VaNessa said the one sentence that makes everything

else possible.

 

"Marketing is good."

She didn't think about it. It wasn't supposed to be important.

 

But if you see what she's doing, and how much success she's

See, most people don't have the self-confidence to market.

 

So they say things like, "I don't like sales.  It's fake. They only

want your money. They don't care about you as a person."

 

The reality is, most people don't have the sense of self-worth

to ask for what they deserve. 

 

So they make it about the process of marketing.

 

I know VaNessa. She's one of the kindest, most fun people

in the world. She cares more about most people than they

care about themselves.

 

And she's a great marketer. She also makes lots of money

doing it.

 

She markets stuff she believes in. She knows she's worthy

of success. And she studied what works...then did it herself.

 

The best marketer I ever met is my wife, Diane Hochman.

She has a heart for people as big as a mountain.

 

And she makes a lot of money promoting the things she

believes in too.

 

Yes, marketing is good.

 

Because it gives people a chance to buy stuff that adds

value to their lives.

 

And yes, it also gives people a chance to buy cigarettes,

violence and other destructive things.

 

But that's now what you and I market.

 

Marketing also gives you a chance to make money.

And you can do whatever you want with it.

 

You can take care of your family.

 

Or you can spend it on cars and pizza.

 

And when you do, people who make and sell those

things make money...and they can take care of 

their families.
