Well, the election is over. The country will go on.

I was all set to write a giant post about being in

charge of your own life, no matter what happens

in the elections coming up.

 

Then I realized two of my Facebook statuses already

did it quite nicely.

1. Don't be surprised if the more important election for

your immediate future is for your mayor or town council

member, rather than President of the United States.

 

2. The single most important person for your future

well being is the one you see in the mirror every morning.
