The Receivers Bill Of Rights

This is from last year. It's been sitting in my files.
As with most decisions I make, it knew exactly
when to show itself...
We are fundamentally good.
We are fundamentally right.
We are worthy of trusting.
We are worthy of laughing at our own screw ups.
We are worthy of kindness from others when we make mistakes.
We are worthy of learning new skills, new tricks,
new ways of thinking and feeling.
We are worthy of taking some risks, knowing we have the power
to fail, learn, start over and ultimately succeed.
We are worthy of asking for more, and receiving it.
At first I was gonna call this "The Achievers Bill Of Rights."
I thought it would be more marketable to use the word Achieve.
Then I said, "Larry, just call it was it is. It's about Receiving.
And after all, you are the receiving guy."
So there you have it...
The Receivers Bill Of Rights.
And guess what? It's going to be the framework of the
training I'm rolling out in early 2013.
