“At The Tone, Leave A Message”

A very common sound to people who are in home business.
A prospect leaves a phone number on your lead capture page
or even leaves a voice mail on your phone.
Then when you call back you get that message, usually from
the anonymous
voice that means they haven't set up their system
on their own.
And you leave the message, knowing there's a slim to none
chance they're going to call you back.
Don't sweat it. Been there, done that.
The danger is in thinking you've done something wrong.
(And by the way, this is a note for marketers. But if you
want to make it about the dating scene, feel free.)
You haven't.
You're playing in a field where most people you talk with
have the desire to make something happen, but not the
confidence or consciousness to follow through on it.
If it makes you feel any better, the person who doesn't
return your call
is going to keep the problem they had that
made them do the thing that
got you to call them in the first place.
That used to make me feel better, knowing their lives
wouldn't change, and mine would.
Then I let go of the emotion around prospecting and sponsoring.
Not 100 percent. I still felt badly for people who aren't going
to have positive changes in their lives.
But I don't carry it with me.
And I don't carry anger. Or worry about where my customers
and teammates are coming from.
I got confident.
I learned How To Receive.
I learned to plug into a process that leaders use to make
incredible
things happen in their lives, and in the lives of
people who follow
them.
Arrogance? Not really.
I didn't invent it. In fact I still learn...every day.
But I also attract. Based on a sense of play, and fun.
And urgency. People want what I have.
And I know I have it.
Irresistible.
Not to everyone. In fact, most still won't follow through.
But enough people will so that I live abundantly...
in every sense of the word.
