Don't Let Anyone Screw With You...
Published: Wed, 07/31/13
This is going to go up as a blog post at NO MORE HOLDING BACK
in the next day or so, but I wanted you to see it first.
I popped this onto my Facebook page this morning...
Do
NOT call yourself a "coach" or a "life coach" if your purpose
is to
steer or influence people into your business or your agenda,
as opposed
to helping them find what's right for them...
which may or may not be
your deal.
If you want to position yourself as a consultant or business coach,
If you want to position yourself as a consultant or business coach,
that's cool...as long as you're up front about what your
agenda is
from the get go. Anything else is manipulative, unethical and
reeks
of lack consciousness.
The home business industry has a bunch of people who try to
pass themselves off as "coaches."
What they're really doing is trying to gain your trust, then jam
you into their deal.
It makes me wanna break stuff.
I am a coach. And a trainer, and yes...my wife and I have
a number of income streams from the home business world.
But I was trained as a counselor. And the first rule is Do No Harm.
I'll advise people who are looking for a way to make money from home.
And if what we have is a match with what we want, then great.
If it's not, or if they aren't ready to play in that arena, I'll tell them that too.
And if they want my helping getting ready to be profitable, I'll
help them get the mindset, the emotional maturity and the SKILLS
to do the deal.
It's better than screwing with people's money and lives...especially
when money is the reason they're looking to do something different
in the first place.
Don't let anyone screw with you.
That's all I have to say about that.
Looking Out For You,
Larry
P.S. If you or someone who like is in the Philadelphia area,
mark your calendar. I'm going to be presenting at Ken
MacArthur's jvAlert LIVE event. Dates are Friday August 9
to Sunday August 11. Message me back if you want a ticket
to the event.
Not cheap, but if you're a serious businessperson and want to
JV or learn some really important stuff and network with some
great people, it's well worth it.
I was at the event in Denver last weekend. It was profound.
I actually wound up doing a juggling presentation and training
that the crowd went wild for. Don't believe me? WATCH THIS.
